Programs
There are no membership or registration fees and enrollment is open to individuals of all disabilities and ages, and their typical family members.
We provide a welcoming, structured and safe venue for members to participate, as well as all uniforms, equipment and materials for activities, trophies and awards.
In the fall we operate an eight-week soccer program, in the winter an eight-week basketball program, and in the spring an eight-week baseball program. Also, during the winter we operate an all-day Saturday program where we pay professionally trained instructors to teach arts & crafts, music, Yoga, and other programs.
We provide all snacks and beverages, during our all-day winter programs for all the participants and their families. View our calendar of upcoming events available for registration or contact us for more information.

Registration and Program Costs:
Registration for the program is done on a first-come, first-served basis. Preference is given to current participants in Cape Cod Challenger Club activities. We limit the number of participants to ensure that we maintain appropriate and safe supervision ratios.
All activity expenses, entrance fees, transportation and supervision are included in the cost. The program costs are broken down on a daily, weekly and discounted-full-program basis. For the purposes of scheduling staff we discourage registrations on a daily basis, but if it is necessary, a daily rate charge will be assessed. We cannot accept day of service drop-offs.
If it is determined that your child needs 1:1 supervision, an additional cost may be required. Family discounts will apply for multiple participants. Financial assistance may be available on a limited basis and administered at the sole discretion of the Challenger Club.
Eligibility & Ages Served:
The vacation recreation program is staffed by trained professionals and available to children and young adults ages 6 and over with physical and/or developmental disabilities. Typical siblings are also welcome to participate. Participants will be assessed individually and placed into appropriate groups with the proper amount of supervision.
For the safety and well being of everyone involved, both participants and staff, some individuals may not be appropriate for the program. Please note that we are unable to accept participants who are not fully toilet trained or need any assistance in the restroom or dressing. We cannot accept anyone with severe behavioral issues that may require restraint. Also, we do not have a nurse on staff so we are unable to dispense medication or care for individuals with severe medical issues. If a prospective participant is not familiar to the Cape Cod Challenger Club, it is important for us to meet with them prior to registering for the program. We do our best to accommodate everyone, but if you have any questions please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
Transportation:
At this time, families are responsible for their own transportation to and from the program.
If you have a question, please contact us to discuss your particular situation or concern. You can contact us by telephone at (508) 420-6950 ext 1136, or by email to info@capecodchallenger.org
We encourage families that are interested in the program to speak with us to see if it is a good fit for their child.
