Where the brightest stars
shine!
Close
your eyes for a moment. Travel back in time to those wonderful days of
youth . . . those days when each season's change brought the excitement
of a new sport or a new activity. . . .
The
thrill of putting on your uniform for the first time . . . the smell of
freshly cut grass on the game fields . . . surrounded by your teammates
and friends. Recall that sense of pride you felt as your parents
watched on from the sidelines, cheering your every move, smiling all
the time at you.

The Kids
Kids should be having fun,
doing things that
make them smile, getting excited and showing it. There's no greater
pleasure for parents than to see their kids having fun, smiling, being
excited about something. Our kids smile a lot, and nothing brings The
Challenger Club more pleasure than to see those smiles, to watch our
kids get excited about something, to have fun.
Look at the photographs
throughout this
site and see those smiling faces on the soccer field, throwing a
baseball, or watching batting practice at Fenway Park. It's pure joy
you'll see. Those are our kids.
"I'm sooooo glad
that you are
doing this for these kids!!!!!!!! My cousin, Mickey, is on a team and
it truley makes a difference."
- Sincerly, Stevie Kate galicia Clover, SC

Cod Challenger has a new sponsor, and we need your help. You'll be
rewarded not only by the satisfaction of helping our kids, but also by
the great products you can purchase through this new sponsorship
program.
It's "Shop to
Earn," an online store where you can purchase products
that in most instances you are already purchasing. When you shop on our
"Shop to Earn" store, though, a portion of the proceeds come to Cape
Cod Challenger to help our kids.
You'll
find our "Shop to Earn" storefront here. It's easy, and it
will help Cape Cod Challenger.

The Volunteers
All
of our management and staff are volunteers. As we have stated
elsewhere, 100% of all monies donated to The Cape Cod Challenger Club
goes directly into our programs. Our staff of volunteers come from all
walks of life, and range in age from young to old. Some have children
of their own, not necessarily challenged, and some don't have children.
All live busy and full lives, and yet find the time to share their life
with our kids. If you ask them why, they'll tell you it's for the kids.
But, it's also for themselves. When you see that look of joy and
excitement on our kids faces, when you watch them participating in
activities not otherwise available to them, when you see the smiles on
their faces, you'll understand. We're always looking for more to help
out - - join us sometime for a game, any game, and when you see those
smiles, you'll understand. Those are our kids, and that's why we all do
what we do. |
